Q:

I can't go on anymore pretending

Hey Vic, I am a 38 year old man, married to a beautiful woman with two young boys, two and four years.

For years I have carried anger and unrest within myself that I don't understand, nor do I know what it is or how to get rid of it.

I can't go on anymore pretending I got this one sorted!

I need help with my anger and my self- worth before It's too late.

A:

Hallo, thank you for the email.

Yea that's right - don't carry on pretending anymore, it is so tiring!

Get it sorted. My friend it's never too late.

You can keep me posted and stay in touch on how you're getting on by emailing me in here.
I will be here to help you as much as I can.

In order to begin the journey to address this carrying anger and unrest within yourself for years, ring our information line on 0800 456 450 and get the contact details for the local stopping violence programme and get in on the next intake.

There is a saying that I got from a friend of mine.

‘If you don't know what you don't know, you'll always do what you've always done and you'll always get what you've always got.'

Which is the same as what you are saying ‘I don't understand nor do I know what it is or how to get rid of it.'
The way that we were raised determines the life decisions we make.

If you know nothing about how to deal with anger, never been shown or taught, how are you supposed to deal with something you nothing about?

Unfortunately we are taught and told as men to ‘handle it.' Be a man!

A stopping violence programme will give you the awareness and education around family violence and help you deal with some of your issues. It will show you there is another and better way to be a man.

We can be in contact by emailing on this website. I want to help any way I can so that you can be a safe man with a safe family ‘to a beautiful woman with two young boys'.

You can do it - we can do it together! We can get it sorted!
